COME ALIVE
Costa Rica 20 - 27th November 2027
Move, Play, Explore, Reset.
Pura Vida
Literally: pure life.
Around here: a way of living.
For seven days, we'd love you to try it ↴
Imagine closing the door on normal life for seven days and stepping into the jungle.. nobody needs anything from you.
You don't need to decide what's for dinner, no need to be somewhere for someone else and you don't need to persuade a friend to come to Costa Rica with you, you just get to come.
Seven nights to move, play, explore, make friends, try things you've always wanted to try and have enough space to remember (or learn) what you actually like.
What’s waiting for you ▹
Morning movement. Pacific surf. Waterfalls and jungle picnics. Zip-lines through the treetops. Self-defence. Pottery. Breathwork. Sauna. Cold plunges. Sunset crafts. A boat trip across glittering ocean.
Things that make you laugh, make you brave and things haven't done since you were little.
And everyday, the whole house goes quiet, we have one hour where nobody talks, nobody needs you and nobody asks you anything, you can sleep, swim, read, paint or simply stare at the ocean.
And no, we haven't filled every other hour either.
Because the luxury isn't how much we can fit into seven days.
It's how much of yourself you get back.
Come home rested, strong, braver, with new friends, ridiculous stories and the feeling that you’ve really lived in full HD Colour.

Getting here ✈
Flights and transfers aren't included because everyone will be coming from different places, in different ways but you won't be left to figure it out alone.
You can fly into Liberia (around 2 hours away) or San José (around 5 hours by road), with the option to take a short 30 minute domestic flight to Nosara. We'll help you work out the easiest option, coordinate group or solo taxis and make sure everyone knows exactly where they're going.
Basically, you get yourself to Costa Rica and we'll help with the rest.
And if Costa Rica has always been on your list, come for longer. Arrive early, stay afterwards, explore. We're very happy to help point you towards places we love and turn seven days into a bigger adventure.
Want to come but have a question?
You can book straight away, but if there's something you want to ask us first, ask us.
Coming alone? Nervous about travelling? Unsure which room to choose? Never done anything like this before? Wondering if you'll fit in?
Pop your details below and we'll chat it through with you.
Meet your hosts ▹
We’ve been friends for years, our daughters are best friends, we both grew up in Norwich, Norfolk and very appropriately for us, we originally met at CrossFit. Our lives have taken us in different directions since then, but movement, adventure, women and friendship have always been the things that bring us back together.
Then in February 2026, Vicky came to stay with Carly in Nosara. We moved, swam, ate incredible food, talked for hours, explored and basically lived the kind of week we both wish women could give themselves more often. And somewhere in the middle of it we looked at each other and thought:
We need to bring the women we love here.
So that's what we're doing. This retreat is a little bit of both of us, a lot of Costa Rica, and everything we think women need more of: movement, adventure, friendship, laughter, quiet, trying new things and enough space to remember who you are when nobody needs anything from you.
And we genuinely cannot wait to do it with you.

No. We know everyone will be travelling from different places and may want to arrive early or stay longer, so flights and transfers aren't included. We will, however, help coordinate everyone getting here. We'll share travel guidance, connect guests arriving at similar times and help arrange group or individual transfers so you aren't left trying to navigate Costa Rica alone.

If you're travelling from the UK (or most countries in Europe and North America), no vaccinations are required to enter Costa Rica.
However, if you’ve recently visited or transited through a country with a risk of yellow fever—such as parts of South America or Africa—you will need to show proof of a yellow fever vaccination on arrival.
For most retreat guests, this doesn't apply. But if you're unsure, just check with your airline or a travel clinic.
While not required, it’s always wise to ensure your routine vaccinations (like tetanus, MMR, and polio) are up to date. Depending on your plans (especially if you're extending your stay or exploring rural areas), a travel clinic may also suggest Hepatitis A, typhoid, or rabies.
You do not need a COVID-19 vaccination to enter Costa Rica.
Still have questions? I’m happy to help guide you based on your travel route and plans—just pop me a message.

Liberia is the closest major international airport to Nosara and is roughly a two-hour drive away. San José is further away, but you can travel onwards by road or take a domestic flight to Nosara. We'll send you all the options before you book your travel.

No. Nothing about this week is designed to make you feel like you've swapped your normal to-do list for a retreat to-do list. Join the workout, sleep in. Surf, or sit on the beach. Take Silent Hour very seriously and watch Sex and the City in bed. This is your week too (just let us know, so we know not to wake you!)
-
Please make sure your passport is valid for your trip and meets the entry requirements for Costa Rica, and check the latest official travel and vaccination/health advice for your own circumstances before travelling.
