THE ULTIMATE HAIRCARE CHALLENGE | GOING VEGAN

This post contains paid for advertorial from Maui Moisture.

Let’s be honest, we’re living in a fast paced world where we are lucky enough to have the option to chose to take not just better of ourselves but better care of the environment around us. Since going pescatarian and to be honest most days vegetarian I have started to take a little more notice of not just the food I eat but the products I use. When I looked in my bathroom I realised just how many products have a negative impact on the world around me, which was why I grabbed a cup of tea and spent the evening doing some much needed research and came across Maui Moisture, with 5 beautiful products in it’s range it takes away the bad to make room for the good!

For two weeks I took on the challenge to use only Vegan based products, I had no idea how many products this would mean I had to lose from my bathroom but luckily Maui had my hair saved and I was excited to see how my hair would feel at the end of the challenge. First up the smell, guys if I could eat the it I would have, to be honest I nearly swallowed a finger-tip full pre application! My hair looks and feels silky smooth, has noticeably less frizz and seems to have hidden a couple of my broken strands, i even had a compliment from the cashier at the petrol station, winning!

Ingredients, Maui Moisture contains no sulfated surfactants, artificial colours or parabens and replaces the deionised water found in most haircare products with 100 pure aloe juice as it’s first ingredient and coconut water and it is Vegan friendly!

The Challenge: I’m now challenging YOU to see if you can use only Vegan friendly beauty products from now until 12th February, Obviously the aim would be to continue if you enjoyed it but for now let’s just commit to the end of the month. For a product to be labelled Vegan it won’t contain any animal product, by-product or derivative and will not been tested on animals. If you’re unsure how to tell if the products you are using are Vegan then the best tip is to look for the Vegan Society trademark symbol or the Cruelty-Free & Vegan Stamp, or ask the brand directly, most will be happy to help and if they’re not, be suspicious

What do you win? Maui Moisture has kindly allowed me to pick 5 winners all of which will receive their entire product range!

To win: All you have to do is follow myself and MauiMoisture on Instagram and post a photo, share a blog post or write a comment of how you found the experience. Remember to use the hashtag #MauiMosture, the winner will be picked on 12th February 2018 and notified via Instagram.
