HOW TO BEAT BLUE MONDAY.

Brace yourself the third Monday in January is said to be the most depressing day of the year based on a culmination of factors, weather, festive season debt, the Christmas fun is over and it’s Monday.. sorry.

I’ve never been a huge fan of believing the rumours however if you guys are going to feel down, I want to do my best to lift you up, after-all all days have the opportunity to be incredible, no matter how they’re labelled.

Get Out,  So it might not be BBQ weather just yet but that doesn’t mean you have to gather cobwebs indoors. One of the best ways to improve your mindset is to get oustside, grab a friend, a dog or just pop on your headphones and your favourite Spotify playlist (here’s a link to my personal playlist, if these tunes don’t make you smile then we can’t be friends!) Also, for those of you who like to be rewarded you should treat yourself for walking by downloading the Earthmiles app, you get rewards and discounts just for using your feet!

Statement, instead of waiting for an occasion to wear your favourite dress or that super lacy underwear set pop it on today! We all know just how much the clothes we wear have an effect on how we feel so stop waiting for the perfect moment to dress gorgeous and embrace your most confident you every damn day.

Foodie, on a bad day we all love nothing more than a little treat, so in light of it being the most depressing day of the year, how about we turn it into the tastiest day of the year by treating ourselves to a delicious meal, a scrumptious meal for two from M&S or just dim the lights, pop on a movie and cook together.. lady in the tramp style!

Forcefield, we all have people in our lives that love to suck the happiness out of us, it’s time to shut the door on those toxic relationships and spend a little more time with the ones that make you laugh so hard you could pee. Life’s far to short to spend it whinging, bitching and rolling your eyes, sometimes you have to unfollow people in real life.
