I’m annoyed at myself that I didn’t try the Pixi Glow Tonic sooner. I received it in a goodie bag during the Summer and it’s sat in my beauty cabinet ever since! At £18 Pixi’s glow tonic promises to brighten and tone the condition of your skin. With 5% glycolic acid, aloe, ginseng, witch hazel and horse chestnut I’m proud to say I noticed a difference within just two days which is why it has become a staple in my morning and evening beauty regime for the past month. I’ve happily received numerous compliments about the complexion and texture of my skin, not to mention I feel its made a dramatic improvement to my acne scaring and sun damage on my nose! If like me you were put off by the idea of adding glycolic acid to your face, don’t be – test it on your skin in a small area first and then let it work it’s magic!

I treated myself! You don’t have to wait for Christmas, your birthday or for a reason, if you have enough funds in the bank then hell yeah it’s ok to spend money on yourself. Let’s just say I tripped, stumbled and full on face-planted the beautiful glass counters of Maria Tash in Liberty London. I’ve been a fan of Maria Tash for quite some time and admired her journey into fine body art. Maria has been a designer and retailer of fine jewellery for 21 years and after realising how difficult it was to find a highly regarded place that specialised in fine body art, not just the piercing and tattooing but the jewellery you pierce with, she saw a gap in the market and created her own line. Each of her pieces are of the finest quality, the kind of jewellery you never need to change and can wear with pride from the very moment you’re pierced and I’m currently writing this with my hair tucked behind my ear because I feel so special wearing them.

I spent ages drooling over the sparkly counters but my eyes quickly honed in on this beautiful 1/4″ Natural Opal Eternity Earring hoop for my tragus, I’ve always wanted to wear a hoop as I think they look so beautiful from side profile and not only is my wedding ring opal but its also my dads birthstone (justification). My other piece needed to be dainty as I have had issues getting my conch to heal, I spotted this beautiful Diamond Paisley Stud earring and new it had to be mine and decided to keep with my rose gold theme! I had the sweetest sales assistant who removed my previous earrings and popped in the new ones and I haven’t stopped smiling since!

Brazil, the booty capital of the world and a place that has been on my wanderlust-list for far too long has not only given us Victoria Secret Angels Alessandra, Adriana and Gisele but a lust for beautiful, glowing skin. Now it’s introduced me to Sol de Janeiro, a line of beauty products with ingredients fresh from the Amazon and a smell that takes me back to every holiday I’ve ever been on. My current favourite from the range is their Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter, at £15 it’s ingredients of cupuaçu, acai and coconut oil make it the most nourishing lip butter I have ever come across and yes, I have been known to get it out of my makeup bag just to smell it! What are your current favourites, I’d love to hear below?
